1. A New Outlook on Life
“So from now on we regard no one from a worldly point of view. Though we once regarded Christ in this way, we do so no longer. Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!” (2 Corinthians 5: 16-17)
When I first became a Christian, I didn’t feel differently, but I remember seeing the world from a new perspective. Life looked a bit brighter and I had more hope than ever. When you accept Christ, the Holy Spirit dwells within you. That’s reason alone to feel hopeful about the future. But suddenly you live in the knowledge that this life is not all there is. A new life awaits you in heaven.

Woodland Hills Baptist Church was founded in 1989. We are a Bible believing congregation that firmly believes that Jesus Christ is Lord of all. We believe that the Holy Bible is the inerrant, infallible, unchanging, timeless, and God breathed. Although the Word of God was penned by man's hand, it was established by God before the foundations of the world and men under the function of the Almighty God penned His Word to paper. We believe that Jesus Christ is the one and only son of God. We believe that Jesus was born of the Virgin Mary who conceived him by the power of the Holy Spirit immaculately. We believe he walked upon this earth living a sinless life. We believe that under his own power and authority he laid down his own life as a ransom for all. We believe that that price he paid was his death upon the cross as an innocent and pure, perfect sacrifice for the sins of the world. We believe that Jesus Christ was buried and in the grave for three days where he won the battle over death, hell and the grave. We believe that Jesus Christ rose on that third day from the dead by the power of the Holy Spirit. We believe that Jesus Christ ascended into heaven after his resurrection where he sits at the right hand of God the Father making intercession for the saints continuously. know him in an intimate, personal way. It is our hope that through our sharing of the Gospel of Jesus Christ and allowing His love to flow through us that God draw men unto Himself.
